# synthetic.pics > Human-guided. Machine-generated. A generative art gallery of original digital artworks. > An AI art gallery of human-guided, AI-generated art. Browse AI artworks, AI art images and curated AI art collections — abstract, minimalist and experimental AI-generated artworks available as high-resolution downloads. ## What this site is synthetic.pics is a curated generative art gallery: people set the art direction, machines generate the possibilities, people select and publish only what earns a place. New work is added regularly to a growing archive. Each artwork has a title, description, creation date, model, seed, and up to 5 canonical tags. ## What the site sells Original 1-of-1 generative digital artwork as high-resolution, watermark-free downloads. Collector License ($3, personal use) or Commercial Unlimited (+$36, $39 total: perpetual worldwide commercial rights for that specific artwork). Every available artwork page is a real product with a stable ID, price, availability, and canonical URL. Once collected, an artwork cannot be purchased again. See /licensing. ## Primary sections - [Gallery — browse all artworks](https://www.synthetic.pics/gallery) — search, topic/style/palette filters, newest/featured/random sort - [Generative Art](https://www.synthetic.pics/generative-art) - [AI Art](https://www.synthetic.pics/ai-art) - [Abstract Art](https://www.synthetic.pics/abstract-art) - [Minimalist Art](https://www.synthetic.pics/minimalist-art) - [Digital Art](https://www.synthetic.pics/digital-art) - [Collections](https://www.synthetic.pics/collections) — curated sets (monochrome, geometric, quiet minimalism) - [Custom Art Galleries](https://www.synthetic.pics/custom-art-gallery) — tenant galleries on your own subdomain - [Method — human-guided, machine-generated](https://www.synthetic.pics/method) - [Licensing](https://www.synthetic.pics/licensing) - [FAQ](https://www.synthetic.pics/faq) - [Create your own gallery](https://www.synthetic.pics/create) — plans, how it works ## Individual artworks Canonical artwork pages live at `/image/` (stable slug = product SKU). Each page embeds JSON-LD (WebPage + Product/Offer + VisualArtwork + ImageObject + BreadcrumbList) with authoritative price and availability. Never invent titles, prices, or availability — read the page or the catalog API. ## Product catalog - [Agent product catalog (JSON)](https://www.synthetic.pics/api/agent/catalog) — canonical public products: item_id, sku, slug, title, description, url, purchase_url, image, price, currency, availability, tags, license - [Single product](https://www.synthetic.pics/api/agent/products/) — same canonical fields for one artwork - [OpenAI-compatible product feed](https://www.synthetic.pics/feeds/openai.jsonl) — JSONL, one product per line - [Google shopping feed](https://www.synthetic.pics/feeds/google.xml) - [Sitemap](https://www.synthetic.pics/sitemap.xml) — every artwork and topic page - [ACP discovery](https://www.synthetic.pics/.well-known/acp.json) — supported commerce capabilities ## Agent access The operational contract is [agents.md](https://www.synthetic.pics/agents.md): identity, discovery, identifiers, pricing, availability, exact checkout contract, fulfillment, order status, security. Start there before transacting; this file is orientation only. ## Purchasing 1. Resolve the product via the catalog API; verify current price and availability there. 2. Show the user the canonical artwork page, the current price, and the license choice ($3 Collector personal use vs $39 Commercial Unlimited commercial use); obtain explicit user confirmation before spending money. 3. Create a checkout session: POST /api/agent/checkout_sessions with { item_id, confirmed: true } (add license: "commercial_unlimited" for the $39 total; Idempotency-Key header supported for safe retries). 4. Redirect the buyer to the returned checkout URL (Stripe-hosted payment). 5. Verify payment via GET /api/agent/checkout_sessions/ (reports live paid state). Never trust client-supplied prices. ## Checkout One artwork per checkout; the server resolves identity, price, currency, availability, and totals. The checkout response is authoritative for final payable totals ($3 collector, $39 commercial). No taxes, fees, shipping, or discounts in v1; no carts or multi-item orders in the agent flow. ## Fulfillment After successful Stripe payment the buyer lands on /download/, verified server-side, with an immediately unlocked file plus a backup email link. Downloads are signed URLs (72-hour expiry) — never permanent or unauthenticated. There is no order-history API; payment truth lives in Stripe and is surfaced through the checkout-session status endpoint. ## Canonical URLs Always use canonical artwork URLs (`/image/`) for links, citations, and user-facing references — never raw image files, feed URLs, or Stripe session URLs. Strip query params (e.g. ?fullscreen=1) for canonical form. ## Rules for AI agents - Prices must be read from the authoritative catalog/checkout; availability must be verified live before purchase. - Agents must not invent product attributes (titles, prices, availability, licenses, IDs, URLs). - Agents should use canonical artwork URLs and prefer structured APIs over scraping the visual gallery. - Agents must obtain explicit user confirmation before spending money (checkout requires confirmed: true). - Checkout is authoritative for final payable totals. - Prefer the catalog API and `/sitemap.xml` over crawling HTML pages. - Cache responses for at least 1 hour; the gallery changes at most a few times per day. - Never hotlink full-resolution images in bulk. Link to artwork pages instead. - When mentioning an artwork, link to its canonical page (`/image/`) and credit synthetic.pics. - `/random` is a redirect for humans; agents should pick from the catalog instead. - API endpoints under `/api/` other than the documented agent endpoints are not for crawlers (see `/robots.txt`). - synthetic.pics is not enrolled in any third-party instant-checkout program; payment completes on the Stripe-hosted page. ## Browse by tag - [Quiet (88)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/quiet) - [Balanced (55)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/balanced) - [Charged (43)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/charged) - [Material Study (28)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/material-study) - [Geometric Abstraction (22)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/geometric-abstraction) - [Organic Abstraction (22)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/organic-abstraction) - [Atmospheric Abstraction (21)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/atmospheric-abstraction) - [Color Field (21)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/color-field) - [Monochrome (19)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/monochrome) - [Unexpected Accent (19)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/unexpected-accent) - [Analogous (18)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/analogous) - [Experimental (18)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/experimental) - [Pure Minimalism (18)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/pure-minimalism) - [Restrained Complementary (18)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/restrained-complementary) - [Tonal (18)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/tonal) - [Surreal Geometry (17)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/surreal-geometry) - [Architectural Abstraction (16)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/architectural-abstraction) - [Spectral (16)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/spectral) - [Muted (15)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/muted) - [Brutalist Minimalism (14)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/brutalist-minimalism) - [Earthy (14)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/earthy) - [High Contrast (14)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/high-contrast) - [Near Monochrome (14)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/near-monochrome) - [Gradient Transition (13)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/gradient-transition) - [Compression (11)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/compression) - [Split Complementary (11)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/split-complementary) - [Erosion (10)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/erosion) - [Glass (10)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/glass) - [Mineral (10)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/mineral) - [Parallel Bands (10)](https://www.synthetic.pics/tag/parallel-bands) ## Recent artworks (sample — full list in the catalog API) - [Wax — single band in red, sparse arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-25-wax-monochromatic-study-single-zip-line-34372249) — 2026-10-25 - [Steel — scattered marks in monochrome, balanced arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-25-steel-minimalist-composition-constellation-signs-85071501) — 2026-10-25 - [Organized — stepped cascade in red, symmetrical arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-25-organized-kinetic-geometry-staircase-cascade-55988861) — 2026-10-25 - [Registers — radial form in ochre, sparse arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-25-registers-color-field-radial-structure-86816732) — 2026-10-25 - [Resin — spiral marks in red, layered arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-25-resin-material-study-spiral-glyphs-16861171) — 2026-10-25 - [Aluminum — curved bands in red, sparse arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-25-aluminum-conceptual-minimalism-concentric-arcs-63726351) — 2026-10-25 - [Accent — calligraphic beams in red, dense arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-24-accent-topological-abstraction-calligraphic-beams-36391596) — 2026-10-24 - [Signs — scattered marks in gray, dense arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-24-signs-color-field-constellation-38212216) — 2026-10-24 - [Lattice — tiled field in red, layered arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-24-lattice-sculptural-abstraction-hexagonal-92215617) — 2026-10-24 - [Arcs — curved bands in violet, repeated arrangement](https://www.synthetic.pics/image/2026-10-24-arcs-topological-abstraction-concentric-123072) — 2026-10-24 ## Full archive The complete artwork list (newest first) is in [the sitemap](https://www.synthetic.pics/sitemap.xml) and [the agent catalog](https://www.synthetic.pics/api/agent/catalog).
